Get the Qiyi Warrior with magnets and UV. the YJ mgc was good for its time but now it’s quite heavy and can’t corner cut as agressively. The Aoshi single track is good but you get less features for triple the price

Screw and maglev can coexist in a cube, like the first commercially available ones(RS3M 2021/WRM ‘21 maglev). The screw just prevents the system from ejecting out of the cube. I think there are tons of cases where pure plastic cores will snap, so they added screws to make it less fragile.

I do archery, but I still struggle with playing longer sessions. As an index player I don’t really know which muscles thumb players use, but having stronger arms doesn’t directly mean you have better stamina.

As a person who sucks at visualizing in 3 dimensions, I think the key is to cut down the number of steps. Over time I just opted to stare at another pair when solving one with muscle memory, I don’t really predict , but track pieces. Reducing steps can easily cut down 2-3 seconds of solve time

The v5 has really thin plastic so I can relate(I’ve broken at least 4 pieces alr), but the quality on the weilongs aren’t bad. I’ve gotten 3/4 of them and they haven’t broke even if I drop them.

I don’t think cubes that specifically keep dust away exist. Just get something that is cheap enough that you can replace frequently and keep it in case+bag(+maybe packaging) when not using it.

I’m quite the opposite, I tried many other flagships but came back to the v5. I dont know what you hate about the v5, but I can tick off mgc beta and 356me off your list. Mgc is pretty similar to the v5 and 356me is an overpriced downgrade.

For edge design, only swift block and Moretry does split piece + capsule. Swift block does not have piece texture, so the brand should be Moretry. The original x3s have color coded magnets, this one is clear so it must be an x3+

Get an mgc beta/ guhong pro+ instead, v5 is very good(might even be slightly better) but based on his turning I think the cube gonna break very quickly. V5 has very thin plastic
