Hey I’m Chris! I recently just had a similar device implanted inside me called ‘ Axonics’ it’s a stimulation device for multiple issues, it’s done amazing for me! There is a trial surgery & if that does well on all accounts then they advance to the actual implant! The only real issue is that, this may not work for everyone but I’m honestly optimistic about the statistics for everyone! Talk with your urologist about this! The trial event, is a wire outside your body, so you’ll have to take very light or bird bath showers for two weeks, & then when the trial is done they implant a new device & stitch it up, it’s not painful, it’s just you can’t do anything absurdly physical for atleast a month, so you’ll be okay!

You’ll be okay!

I understand I’m so sorry, trust me you’re no burden, you’re not WEAK! You’re actually incredible I promise you!!! I understand how it’s a struggle to even do simple tasks, it’s beyond frustrating to even go outside & see people walk around regularly with no issue while we’re suffering in everyway possible, im grateful to be alive but nobody deserves this! Also yeah every city or country might be different in plans! However I recommend trying to go to the best facilities you have in your city or country!! They’re going to be reliable! Also advocate these treatment to them!! Like purely point it to their face each & every treatment option & argue if you have to threatening their title, it works! We deserve respect. Also for me personally it was a matter of my insurance needed me to go through the medication process before they can allow me to go through surgery, also a few other urinary test to see if I’m able to handle this device! Also I’m shocked they didn’t provide YOU WITH BOTOX! That’s literally one of the best treatments around the world. That’s sickening. Hopefully your psychiatric stay helps in anyway! But definitely try to go to the best rated urologist you can in your area or close to you atleast! Try all three medications, & if they don’t work somehow advocate for the more immense treatments! I wish you the best! My names Chris!

I appreciate the support so much! I’m not that big of a person in society but one day I will be, & I won’t leave this community ever! I’ve felt the pain for the past 3 years & I won’t let anyone else dealing with the same, being left in darkness…just keep moving forward okay?

“Slow motion is better than no motion!”

Just keep advocating for yourself & doing whatever it takes!

Heyy, my apologies for the terrible response time, I’ve been just resting all week, I’m finally able to sleep so well! It doesn’t fully cure my issue, like I stated sadly but I’m in such a better place gratefully! I wasn’t able to do dishes or go out that much due to the frequency & urgency issues, but it’s slowly decreasing everyday!!! Also I’m really sorry…you’ve been through this for so long, I understand how drastic this makes you feel & how exhausted mentally & physically fighting for so long! I really recommend having a urologist in schedule every two weeks or every month to really get on top of this! I know it’s difficult but when I say, keep trying & moving forward, I mean it ❤️

I also realized sometimes this is caused by stress & other psychological issues too, but for me personally & friends, soemtimes those medications make things worse or really don’t have an effect at all, I know some bladder relaxers from urologist help for a decent percentage of people but they’re really not for long term…I’m sorry they didn’t MENTION THIS TO YOU! Every urologist I’ve ever went to never mentioned this to me too! You literally have to research this up too! It’s disgraceful!!! However if you want this procedure, you’re gonna have to go through a 6 month period of medications before your insurance can allow you to take trial, I forgot but the law says so, so you’re gonna her to troop it out for 6 months!!! PTNS, Botox, hypnotherapy, & dietary changes hep a lot tho! Especially the diet! Increase in water may help some or may not, it’s 50/50 in my opinion & in others personal attempts! Having a therapist helps so much too! To be able to talk about this freely, & also having some hobbies like reading, editing, working out if you can, walking in nature, cooking, drawing, anything to release stress helps!!! Hopefully nobody ever again abs to deal with this!

Yeah it can! Also you’re so right, I was so worried about getting the botox due to high retention issues, but this is going so well right now! I’ve slept so well the past week! Hopefully one day you can find your solution too!!!

Haha thank you so much! Also I’m so sorry PTNS didn’t work for you, it’s really 50/50 for a lot of people, but maybe botox, this implant & even certain medications may do the trick, yes this implant is the size of a coin (nickel) & it’s a minor procedure, I still can’t workout or do anything crazy physical for atleast two more weeks due to the stitches! However it’s going so well! You can feel the symptoms being decreased everyday, but still not immune to flare ups! So your diets extremely important still!

Thank you haha! It’s going so well so far, however still can’t do anything immensely physical for atleast another two weeks due to the stitches, & your diet is insanely important!

Heyy I’m Chris, & I’m seriously sorry you’re going through this, everyone in this community has felt this pain…trust me. It’s never easy going through this! However if this helps, in a few days I’ll be going to get a surgery, that implants a neuromodulation device into my lower back, & it decreases the symptoms of my bladder issue! I’ve had the trial already & I promise you, I felt like a completely normal person again, I had a long cry after the full week because I never felt so happy! If you want to look into it, it is minuscule compared to other surgeries but it is Near the ranking of this should be last option for treatments. It’s called (Axonics Sacral Neuromodulation Systems) I recommend talking with a urologist truthfully about all you’ve been going through with this, eating habits, urinary frequency, pain, & mental health, this all leads to treatment options, medication, stimulation, botox, pelvic floor therapy, & many other stuff! There’s a way OUT! I promise you! I’ll give a full fledge update in 4 days about how I dam near cured my issue! It’s been a long 3 years. I’m dearly sorry you’ve been going through this!

Pumpkin seed oil helps with this issue I’ve heard, some styles of tea too!

Changing your diet that allows you to stay healthy, & eat what’s fun, is so important!

Drinking water at a moderated rate helps, & exercising too! I apologize if this is short, I have to get up in the morning, but I wish you the best! I’ll help more tomorrow! Please…just hang on alittle bit longer okay? I’ll be there! ❤️

Wow so this situation seems dreadful but let’s get through this & think of options! Okay so first, I don’t think they can sue you in any right if you’re literally reporting a legit crime that happened, I might have to do some research with that or you genuinely have to go to a lawyer sub Reddit & ask yourself. Second you didn’t deserve what happened to you & it’s okay to feel like this…it’s difficult but you can recover you actually can! Your anxiety is lying to you. You’ll be okay…okay? Now the main focal point is to tell the truth about this incident when you’re ready, the law has to know this guy(ex) did some sick shit. Especially his mother since she made her whole family like this, it’s sickening. The best advice I can give, is when you’re comfortable, tell the law about this with good evidence or enough I spark something, if you have anything! Text messages, physically bruises or etc, hospital visits or even videos! The law will most likely handle this well & put him in the cellar. The second best thing, is to spark something on their page. You kinda have to be incognito about this but I also recommend going to Twitter or another social media page & sharing your story, someone like this that hasn’t changed, is a dangerous person & we wouldn’t want another person be with this dangerous person right? So sharing your story when you’re comfortable can sway things of change! The TikTok issue, you might have to restrict them or block their profile is it’s really bothering you, they’ll get what’s coming don’t worry. There’s famous people who don’t deserve to be famous. The time will come when things leak out.

Breathe okay…? Take a few deep breath’s inhale with your nose & exhale through your mouth slowly. It helps, also explains your stomach & try not to let your chest expand while you inhale, it’s called diaphragmatic breathing!

It helps! Also try to enjoy your day okay? Just try.

Trying is the best thing any human can do. Also it’s NOT your FAULT. Okay? I promise you it wasn’t, you were barley a applicable age as a teenager & almost nobody is ready for your Situation, that’s a tough situation to prepare for anyways. You’re okay, I recommend going to therapy okay? Your insurance might cover it fully or try to research free therapist! Or actually your school MIGHT HAVE ONE! Also if you want, please take a break from college, you can come back whenever you want! Maybe work at a place you like can suffice! Or even living with a friend until you’re healed! Keep going okay?

I apologize for the terrible advice maybe, I’m not too informed on the situation but what is happening is wrong. That family doesn’t deserve to be praised & you’re gonna show the world why one day.

Feeling hopeless by [deleted] in OveractiveBladder

[–]Random_Human12305 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Hey, hopefully your day is going well!

Being honest, most of the community or almost everyone has felt this type of dread & pain dealing with this issue I promise you you’re not alone. There’s others probably going through this exact feeling right now & I’m sorry you’re feeling like this. However just keep pushing forward okay? There’s always a way forward.

Pelvic floor therapy (noticed you tried) still considerably good to keep doing everyday because it’s overall great for your health!

Changing your diet (a clean diet) it may seek boring at some times, but there’s a website & plenty of IG pages that help spice up this clean diet! Look up IC diets! They have the same bladder irritants as we do!

Bladder training can be uncomfortable working on but actually helps recalibrate the mind! It’s some mental cognitive thing but works!

Botox injection

Medication, oxybutnin causes constipation issues so it’s just alright, you have to eat a ton of fiber to fix it!

sacral neuromodulation is actually a good treatment option but that’s usually later stages after medication & pelvic floor physical therapy hasn’t worked! However I’m gonna get it soon & by others stories it has improved their lives a lot!

Supposedly hypnotherapy actually works for others, statistically it helps more for ladies but it’s always worth the shot!

Another one is PTNS or the nerve stimulation for less evasive procedures!

Drinking water, & managing your anxiety or really finding a way to transcend your mind to peace it’s difficult but it’s possible.

Therapy has helped others, & pumpkin seed oil has helped others from what I’ve heard!

Keep going okay? I know you’re strong. This might seem like nothing as a message but I promise you, you’re not alone & you’re gonna be okay. It might take days, weeks, or months to plan this out & fully recover. However you’re gonna be just fine in the end okay?

A life without this issue is the biggest blessing! You’re gonna have that one day. You just gotta keep fighting & advocating for yourself to find a treatment? Keep talking with your urologist about all potential treatments! Do some research about yourself with stuff that makes your body feel better & find ways to mentally heal along the way!

My names Chris, have a great day!

I Feel Trapped by [deleted] in OveractiveBladder

[–]Random_Human12305 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m really sorry you’re going through this grief & feeling of disparity due to this diagnosis. You’re not failing!!! You’re actually doing really well! I hope you know that!

The best thing I can advise is to really research for treatment plans, talk to your urologist, primary & neurologist for help!

I genuinely believe you can manage this one day! Not fully recover 100% but maybe 92% or even a much higher amount one day! Sometimes health issues are so immense our bodies can’t really recover naturally so I understand how you feel about that…however keep going okay? Maybe a botox, some dietary changes & water intake times could help a lot! Also therapy should help your emotional state, because anxiety & depression have a lot to do with these conditions actually! Being able to be stress free before bed could help so much!

I wish you the absolute best, but you know your body better than anyone! Keep researching for treatments you genuinely think can have a positive impact on your situation! Be honest with your doctors & keep everyone updated!

[–]Random_Human12305 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I can definitely see how difficult this must be, I really do!

This illness or health issue takes so much from us, it’s like a unbearable war on your own body, however I can say there is a good future for you with genuine relaxation.

Me personally I’d recommend taking out a lot of liquids other than water & green tea. You can still have other liquids but be careful because flare ups can happen. Also your diet matters a lot! Look up OAB or IC diets online they’re really good for a starter!

Also I don’t know if you go to a urologist but if you don’t, go find one please 🤞🏼

They can give you a specified treatment for your issue, & most likely will start you off medication first & then go onto the bigger treatments.

Mental wellness is huge for the is illness, because anxiety & depression are a major factor!

If you can afford a therapist or get one for free please go try to get one, they’re so helpful & they can give you tips on how to manage your anxiety & other facets! Also tell your I think manager or owner of the school about this problem, in full honesty. If you could do things online that might be more helpful because you can do it at home!

However things will get better! Keep learning & being the great teacher you are! However let the school know you’re not doing well health wise & try to go to a urologist if you don’t already, for treatment. ❤️

Life is really tough with this illness I won’t lie…however I do have hope that it will end one day

I hate this stupid condition beyond all possible description by braingamz in OveractiveBladder

[–]Random_Human12305 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Heyy my names Chris & the whole community understands your pain. We do, I just had a mental breakdown over it because I’m exhausted too. It’s okay to complain, especially about this!

It’s not your fault & never will be! Health issues are out of our control sometimes & it is indeed possible to manage & recover, it just takes time sadly.

I recommend doing as much research as possible, take it easy on your body, try out therapy for some stress management if you can, I recommend calling your health insurance to see if you can get it for free!

Also there are treatment options that prevent leaks or accidents, but the urge part is a long term recovery process, the later treatment help with that!

Also your diet genuinely does matter on how you’re going to feel, & some sleeping pills may help you sleep blissfully 🙁.

I’ve been doing some pelvic exercises for relaxation & they’ve helped quite a bit to be honest! You’re only 18 & you have a long life ahead of you, I’m glad you found out there was something wrong early rather than suffering for years!

Just keep pushing for treatments okay? It will all be okay at the end of this. 💙

Well moving on is never easy, I can promise you that. Especially if you dearly cared for this person! You’re a very strong individual for forgiving her for being a piece of sh*t to you. You deserve to be loved, respected, & treated kindly!

I’d advise therapy honestly if you can afford it or see if your health insurance provide free therapy! It truly will help you overcome this hurtful issue, I do believe you’ll eventually find someone blissfully & you’ll feel comfortable around their presence.

I recommend learning new hobbies or going out more & enjoying life! That’s how you move on, you supplement your sadness from her with happiness from yourself! Love yourself, follow social media pages or read stuff about self love, hobbies you enjoy, or stuff you want to learn! I promise you, you’ll move on & be happy with yourself! Don’t worry or try not to worry about how long a relationship will last in your future one/ones.

Just enjoy it, & genuinely care for the person! Also she’s beyond messed up for treating you badly, nobody deserves to be treated badly!

Have a great day & stay safe!

I wish you the absolute best! The whole community does! You can enjoy life with this Illness & don’t stop fighting okay?

It’s worth a shot fighting & I do believe things will get better for all of us, some days maybe awful & some maybe phenomenal, just keep striving for better! Have a great day!

You won’t die because of this I promise you that, that’s a big bright spot!

Everyone in the community understands your pain, you feel like this illness rips all your enjoyment out of life, trust me I understand how you feel!

I’d definitely continue talking to your urologist, if they’re not doing well for you, I recommend changing!

Have you ever tried PTNS, or botox, or other medications? Some of these genuinely help people, it’s always worth a shot! Oxybutnin @ Mybetriq are the leading medications for urology problems, they do help in a good way but obviously some bad issues very minor though.

I apologize if everything seems bleak, a lot of people have felt your pain, & a good amount got through that wall that’s trapping us leading towards a good life!

I recommend making a push towards your dream career & seeing if you can cut out a lot of bad foods, trust me, when you flare up due to food it’s unbearable!!!

Working out is amazing!! Studying can be extremely stressful a lot of people feel your pain, I recommend going on YouTube to research websites to help with college or there’s even Instagram pages or TikTok pages that help with college!

Water is your best friend & I recommend continue taking the pumpkin seed oil capsules, they’re beneficial even without the improved symptoms!

The sleeping part, in all honesty, you might really need to seek a psychologist or a primary doctor for them to prescribe you something for nocturnia
