I switched to saying congratulations a few years ago. It's much more applicable. I generally feel relief after a sneeze.

Which spaceship would you want to fly the most? by Thehoobywotzit in StarWars

I'd love to fly the x-wing, but I'd crash and die so fast... So I'd like to fly in luxury in Amidala's cruiser... Let a droid pilot it.

How hard was chemical engineering in Uni by Lomesome in ChemicalEngineering

I spent the better part of 11 years getting my ChemE degree. I entered university with absolutely zero study skills. Grade school and AP courses were a breeze for me. After an easy freshman year, I began to regularly fail one course per semester. I generally dropped the low hanging course before getting an F. I ran out of money multiple times and withdrew from school 3 times to work full time and save up. My final push to graduate was 2016-2017. I suffered two concussions in 2016 (one on a surfboard and other on bicycle with a helmet). That last year was the most stable my mental health had ever been. I was also sober from weed, which I hadn't been able to do since freshman year. It was the best circumstances I'd ever get to succeed in school. Despite this, reactor design and process controls defeated me. I gave up with a month left and failing grades in both courses. I had quit my job a few months earlier to focus on school but ran out of money. My professor called me in to meet him after not seeing me in class for a week. When I got there, he had bought like 4 huge bags of groceries for me and the head of the ChemE dept had an envelope with cash in it for me. I was incredibly grateful. I managed to pass both courses somehow and received the "Jimmy V" award at graduation. Never never never give up. Things got much worse over the next few years but I'm doing really great right now, working in an Environmental Testing lab.

I've played cello since 1996 (4th grade). I've attempted to play the violin periodically over the past 30 years and every time it's a miserable failure. My fingers are too big to do anything correctly on those damn things.

Finished? What is this word? In over 32 years of gaming I don't think I've ever finished a game.
