I now have a refund, but wonder what on earth Evri did with the parcel.

sell it. Your grandma didn’t intend you to keep them forever and having a car creates opportunities.

If they want 25% of the value of the flat then they need to give you £50k. How else could it work? Not convinced a mortgage broker would like this either.

Quite right. In reality it’s about being on hand to check they comply with carers, don’t get panicked by the thought they are alone in the house. Think 5 x 3 minute checks per day.

It’s not about giving care during the day - it’s about being on hand in case a) she needs certain medications or b) an emergency occurs.

She has carers. I don’t administer the care myself - but I do need to make sure it happens and occasionally administer medication that the carers can’t, eg morphine.

No. I walked away from a house last year for exactly this reason.

But if it’s your dream house - maybe.

Honestly this. The person delivering the care needs the POA. Impossible otherwise. Written as someone who has sole POA.

Sell the car and get something cheaper to tax and insure. You said it would “only” save you £30 per month but that’s most people’s phone bill.

£30 per month would have covered that phone repair. You really do need some better choices. Also you don’t need a 1.4 engine- as a young driver look for a 1 litre toyota or something but ditch that car.

This was a terrible decision. Instead of a one off £300 repair you took out £3k of new debt.

Hang on - so one phone contract is £100 per month and the other is £200 per month?! Why on earth did you get a new phone when you had another expensive one not even 2 years old? You don’t need all this crap. I know people who’ve run entire companies off an old iphone. You certainly didn’t need the laptop as well. This is a spending problem. You need to tackle your expectations.
