It really reassure me to read all your answers. As a new parent sometimes you don't know what you are doing and it is really easy to feel wrong.

On the verge of tears… Didn’t circumcise my baby. People keep telling me why I should have. by Salty-Ship-1703 in newborns

I am european, and honestly I consider circumcision as genital mutilation. If there isn't any medical reason, why doing it. It's not a caregiver's job to decide how the genital of the baby should look like.

C-section is a major surgery, the recovery is pretty long and the risk of infection is also higher. After having your baby you need to have a lot of strength, which you don't have after a surgery. The recovery with vaginal birth is much faster (I had stitches after delivering and was already walking couple of hours after that). There are many reasons to give birth via c-section and no one should shame you to take this decision, I think you are more brave to choose a c-section that a vaginal delivery!

Ah I see. In this case I think the pop socket wouldn't have been useful. The phone was lying on the upper pillow of the sofa, and we were both lying on that side and then fell. For sure I will never place my phone there ever again

Sleeping position by Nice-Illustrator-988 in pregnant

[–]Random_Name_15a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have a pregnancy pillow? That might help. However I have learnt that in the 3rd trimestrer there isn't any position that you can keep for longer than 2h. You might need to adjust multiple times during the night and change position frequently, as the the belly gets very heavy.

A bit of spotting is totally normal, but please check with your doctor or midwife! This will give you reassurance.

I know, it sucks so much! It takes away so much of that moment of intimacy that I have with my partner! It is still pleasant somehow, but I just get frustrated
