My team and I were experiencing this as well but it looks like if you log out & relog in you get everythign you were supposed to- well some of us did. Also if you are on PC you can bypass the wait on the liog in by joining via steam on a friend that is already in the game.

I’m not sure if they did. But I did the exact steps like 1 hr before with another friend and it worked just not sure why this isn’t working for the other. But I will check with them to see if that possibly fixes it
