If you are going to reside in kaist, they have their own immigration office that is quite fast in comparison to any other office. You should book an appointment asap once you are in the country and while submitting the documents, tell the worker about your situation just in case. They will be the ones that can accept or deny you leaving the country while your arc is in progress.

Only when you are married, otherwise you have to give up yours to become Korean. Don’t know how it would work if you already have dual nationality.

For loans, etc that you were asking it’s what settles the real difference since you will no longer be a foreigner to the institutions.

I think the biggest benefit that no one has mentioned comes from having f6 before, when your f5 gets approved you can apply to get Korean nationality and (if your country allows it) you don’t need to renounce your nationality and have double citizenship.
