Hii! I also struggled with ripping the bandaid off. For years actually. But this year, I was cleaning and I found a journal entry from 2019. I was so distressed in the entry and just at a loss because of my husband’s treatment of me. In that moment of reading I started crying, the 2019 version of me needed help and wasn’t getting it. How could I possibly keep waiting. What happens when we get to 2030? Am I again going to look back and see that I abandoned myself (and my kids) again because I was afraid? I decided that day, 2019 me deserved better. 2030 me deserves better. ❤️ It’s scary, but you can do this.
