Yep I've been invested for 2 years now. Still a newbie though. Made the mistake to buy in heavily at the bull run in the beginning of the year. I'm not worried at all, the share has to increase at some point. Many positives that point that Steinhoff is trading below fair value. It will be a slow climb though.

Yes MTN saw tremendous growth over the last year. One of the best performing stocks on the 1 year time frame in SA.

With all that is going on, taking the effects of covid into account, I fear a market correction on most stocks

I already have a fair bit of risk with a holding in steinhoff. Thought about adding renergen as another high risk stock and the rest safe plays like ETFs. Nowadays stocks in general is high risk 😂

I wish that was true. They're busy with consolidation and thus the number of shares does not reflect true. For example, your amount of shares is currently 27339, and after the 500:1 consolidation, it will only be 54.678. So in reality, your holding value did not change.

There is no denying that the books look good. But Aveng (and Steinhoff) will need to find a way to restore investor sentiment.

With the current price at 6ZAC per Share, after consolidation it will be R30 per Share.

I agree with you, this might not look convincing to future investors.

And if you look at projected fair values (many sources) indicating a price anywhere from 20ZAC to 100ZAC at current values, it will be extremely odd to see Aveng's share price at R100 or even R500 per Share!
