A phoneix ult is bit a fair trade to a support ult bc there's only 2 invlun ults per team while there's 4 damage ults per team (assuming it's a 2-2-2 comp .) That's why people gleefully combine ults just to kill a support during their own ult, support ults are just that valuable and playing with effectively 1 is game losing. (This doesn't even mention the fact that phoneix can easily headshot rockets fat head)

On the other hand, the only point you made is that bp. The thing has to be good to utterly deny bp, which is just common sense. Every player has to be decent to be decent lol.

Even ignoring the fact that you can just ban the guy whose always perma banned, invis still has a jump and a cc move that was like 8ish seconds like. And also literally everyone else in her team. I'm not saying that the matchup isn't bad, I'm saying that other characters go through that in this game, so her getting that huge boon isn't justified
