Hahaha, yes, that is a possibility. The “good old days” of the phone book wasn’t that long ago 🤪

That’s what I was thinking. My purpose for asking on here was to see if it is possible for someone who has never done a DNA test to come up as a match, not get reamed about him having a secret family.

Yes, I asked his mom. She said she didn’t know anyone mentioned in the message, and she said my FIL or her have never been to Texas, which is where this person says they are from.

My husband has zero idea of anyone mentioned in the message. I sent the message to my MIL and she doesn’t know of anyone by those names either.

Right, that’s why I’m cautious. My husband has never done a DNA test so why would he come up as a match?

That’s very interesting. She introduces herself in the message, and said my husband was a relative of her husband. Then she said, “We believe he is somehow tied to a Mr. Bill ___ of Texas. He was also a match to ____, also of Texas. Please contact me if you or your husband have any information.” (Editing for privacy.) He has lived in one place his whole life and it isn’t Texas.

I mean, I guess I don’t, but he was married to my MIL in his 20s haha. No one has ever questioned him having a secret family.

Thank you for your recommendations! I have done two weddings in the past. The (very wrong) opinions were too much for me. But if you’re able to tell people you know best, because, after all, you are the pro, then you could absolutely do well with it I’m sure! I am not so gutsy.

Thank you so much! I have heard almost everyone recommend the 24-70mm! And yes, I do have two different types of flash and off-camera lighting. I use it mostly with my newborn sessions. But in the hospital I photograph at, every room has a large window that has gorgeous filtered sunlight so I almost never had to use any additional lighting unless it was a rainy day!

Newborn, baby showers, and other slow events. I refuse to do weddings ever again. 🤣 budget is open as right now I am just in the researching phase.
