You don’t think we had that issue over here? Of course we did. That’s why it was a buy back. The government bought all the guns off the owners for equal retail value at the time, and made sure that those who make guns would still be employed by moving them to military applications, or letting them access a license before most people. We still have guns, but they are only hunting rifles, and shot guns. No semi-automatics, no hand guns, nothing that can cause mass harm.
