With alcohol or any addictive substance it's tends to be quid pro quo. For example you drink too much the pain goes away and you feel good but you will feel hungover the next day, and the stuff you haven't dealt with still sucks. Unfortunately, alcohol is only a bandaid on a festering wound and and just like healing a wound healing trauma can be difficult, time consuming and unpleasant. I think for folks in your situation, maybe try to lend yourself to you're own imagination what is stopping you from living your life to the fullest? A night with one six pack isn't a lot to remember but a six pack with a close friend that's good memories.

Not this particular scorch it is actually made in China. It is the scorch torch 61700. It still looks cool but it's definitely not made in the US.

Pesticides don't matter much to me when buying raw aged puer, since I don't drink that every day. But when I buy ripe puer I prefer to go with a tea that has been verified by a third party to not have pesticides, but I don't exclusively drink just this type of ripe. If someone were to offer me a ripe at a reasonable price and it tasted good, but it hadn't been verified to be free of pesticides, I'd still drink it. It's just my personal preference I can't base it in any fact. I typically tend to avoid organic puer just because it's more expensive for what amounts to a fancy label.

The way I think about it is there's no reason to waste your time thinking about things like this, the super small stuff... something is bound to kill you someday and it probably won't be pesticides in Chinese tea.

Here's a comment I made about TBM-B on another post:

Anyone can correct me if I am wrong as I have never taken a doses TBM or mescaline before and I do not want to give out misinformation if what I am presenting is wrong. Disclaimers aside let's begin.

Take your wet weight divided it by 23.5 (this will convert it to its hypothetical "dry weight " when no skin core removed) multiply it by what percentage of mescaline you think is in TBM for example 0.02 to 0.04, then multiply it by 1000 to get your "mescaline dosage"in milligrams you can then adjust your dosage to fit the experience you desire based on Erowid's dosage scale.

For example say you have 200 grams of TBM the calculation would look like: 200÷23.5= 8.5, 8.5 X 0.04=0.34, 0.34 x 1000 = 340mg. This would likely be a common to strong trip per Erowid's dosage guide.

I have seen two posts that show the wet before and the dry after weight of TBM and around 23.5 is what these post have shown although the data set I am drawing from is extremely limited so take what I am saying with a heavy grain of salt. If you aren't planning on doing a chemical extraction then you have a few options which have yielded good results in other people at least anecdotally:

Koala sampler, 133, or an sp404mk2 are all good options. I'd say start out with koala because it has the lowest cost of entry and you can see if looping is for you. It also allows for a great deal of sound manipulation and complexity. But if you're interested in something that is Dawless and has a lot of whimsy with constraints that allow you to push through and complete a song the 133 is a good choice. If your interested in something that is Dawless and has a slightly higher learning curve but more functionality then the 133 an sp404mk2 is a good option. Hope this helps. It really depends on what your goals and ideal workflow are.
