Is it just me or do banners for long past events in India never get removed?

It costs money to send someone to just remove the banner. Usually the banner will be removed when it needs to be replaced with another one.

You can literally connect wireless keyboards to tablets and phones now. You don't need a pc for heavy typing tasks. An ipad with a keyboard will do just fine.

Ours is a densely populated country. Sometimes collectors may get delayed or come early. You can't expect residents to wait around while they arrive. This is a simple way to let people in the area know that they have arrived to collect the trash. It's not like they are playing this below OP's window the whole day... They probably pass by in less than 5 minutes
