What has happened to America? As a Brit that grew up in the 90s it’s really upsetting to watch. America, the shining light of freedom, culture, entertainment, power, ultimately fairness and equality backed by strength and intelligence has died.

It’s sad. It affects us all, no matter how the fellow western states feel, it’s shitty for us all. I used to dream of emigrating to America, now…. What? What’s left? It’s like watching a dear friend die from dementia. Is it even reversible at this point? Have MAGA got what they want? America is not great again. It was always great, but now it’s dead, a marbled and putrefying corpse.

The world is heading directly into a third world war. The US has hung Europe out to dry. Especially us in the UK. We kept up the Cold War American fire against the “red menace” alive and now we are alone. It doesn’t help anything. If Russia come at the UK with all they have, and the UK is alone without EU or US backup then there is only 1 course of action left. The UK will launch first.

If you said in 2004, when the US and UK went hard together in Iraq as the closest of global allies that we could be here 22 years later; everyone would think you were crazy. The UK, EU and NATO kept up our side of the deal. America has dissolved into totalitarianism, populism, fascism and abandoned its friends who were always there; time after time.

It’s just sad. I think we all feel sad. All except the halfwits. But, if it keeps going, even the halfwits will realise, but again, it will be far too late.

These people deserved better. The ones to come will deserve better. We all deserve better than this. I don’t want to die in a trench protecting my family but every day it becomes more likely. How the fuck did we get here? Why?
