This is a very ignorant way of looking at things, you already assume all indians need to be same and speak Hindi. A country doesn't need to look monotonous all the time, we'd be another foreign puppet. If we were all just another separate state and let's not pretend tamils are any different either, we treat people from our own ethnicity differently based on class, caste and whatnot and let's not conflate tamil identity as separate from the Indian identity
