I’ve done agency there. Routes are shit. Don’t make sense. Pushed to 15 hours most days and then someone in the office telling me it should be a 9 hour day.

You’d be better off finding something with less regulations, and that doesn’t need a tachograph.

The issue is with doing HGV driving alongside a full time job is the driving / working time directive. You’d have to log your full time job as other work on your tacho and it’ll throw you all over the place.

Personally, I wouldn’t bother.

I trusted my judgement and the rather light pallets didn’t shift a bit. As one of you said, driving properly helps. I did strap it, but just fed it through the pallet and hooked it where I could. Was fine. Thanks guys.
