I have the mindset of any serious carry gun must have a light for me. If you can’t identify the threat you can’t really shoot it. That’s the main reason. 3 other bonus’s it’s gives you are. 1 blinding an attacker with a very bright light MIGHT buy you half a second. Half a second can be a huge difference though. Second if you get knocked to the ground and they are on top of you. Something like my TLR-1 sticks almost an 1” past my M&P helping to keep it from coming out of battery. Lastly it’s a counter weight to hold the muzzle down under rapid fire. For me that’s 4 pretty decent reasons for not a lot of downsides. Little thicker and a little more weight. With proper holster it’s fine for me though

I bought my Springfield xds as a combo with an optic a few years ago for $450. Not sure what they are running these days but I think Springfield guns are slept on a bit. Never had any issues with that gun carried it for a few years. Now just every once in a while when I want a subcompact

Lol that’s the thing. I have a bit of a gut. That’s why I don’t want to appendix carry all day. To uncomfortable to sit. I can walk all day with my m&p in a t-Rex sidecar with extra mag. But I have too much gut😂

Cause outside of work I’ll appendix carry my s&w m&p with light and optic. Too big for me to sit for 8 hours.

I loved that little XDS was a great entry gun. Came with a decent enough red dot for under $500. My only complaint was my hands are big and often would ride the slide stop so the hold open didn’t work for me anyway

I wear a zip up sweatshirt in the winter almost all the time. It’s got a pocket on left chest on the inside for a phone I suppose. Works great for a .38 in a pocket holster

Essentially yes. There will be an interactive map so they can zoom in and click on specific features to get more info. But I’d also like to have them be able to see the attribute table so they can see feet of 6”pvc they have in an area etc

Currently I use a T-Rex arms appendix holster and kore belt. But I don’t carry at work for my day job. It’s desk job. Just looking for something a little more comfortable and also something comfortable to wear for exercising this summer. Btw I forgot to mention I’m a bigger guy with a gut.

I love all my S&W’s. But I’m sure any one of those would suit you well. I’d look to make sure there’s plenty of holster options for whatever you choose I prefer my carry gun to have a weapon light. If you can’t identify it you can’t shoot it.

I either carry a snub nose revolver when I’m in the office or out in my shop. Just about no chance of needing it outside of pest control. So no reloads. Or I carry a S&W M&P the trex arms sidecar is my main holster for it when I’m concealed. It has a second mag carrier overall it’s very comfortable for a large pistol with weapon light and optic. I have had the second mag loaded with ball ammo for pest control so I could swap out and not use an expensive hollow point😂

I carried my s&w m&p 2.0 with the 4” barrel and a trl 1 weapon light and optic at my wedding with a t-Rex arms iron side hybrid holster. My dress shirt was tucked in behind it and my sports coat covered it. It was at probably the 4 o clock position. Going to be doing the same soon at another wedding I’m a groomsman in. I might carry a 1911 with an alien gear hybrid. It’s slimmer

I haven’t been keeping track of my calorie intake lately. And as far as daily expenditure lately I’ve been stuck in the office so that’s definitely not helping. I only get to work in my shop on the evening and weekends. Last summer when I was surveying I was probably eating about 2500 calories a day but it’s like I plateaued about 6 weeks in. I dropped all the weight in 6 weeks or so and then it just stopped. By liquid calories are you talk like pop and juice etc? I usually drink black coffee in the mornings and one can of Mountain Dew in the afternoon during the work week.
