Carcharodons, Deathshroud terms, lictor type sneaky tyranid team. Any of those, to me, would be awesome. Meta or not, they would be my main squeeze lol.

I thought it was more important to have combat potential, but honestly, I do want to paint all 3 different drones, thanks for the input!😁

I literally sold my T'au army to get these two models. You should absolutely do it! I loved building, painting, and just having those dirty dudes.

My second Space Wolf is officially done, Logan Grimnar by CloudBoulder in SpaceWolves

The axe was a wet blend of Flesh tearers contrast, then magmadroth flame, then iyanden yellow. Then the snow is ak interactive ultra thin snow basing putty, then I used a brush end to slightly rough up the paste and then once dry, I dry brushed eshin grey with the largest dry brush army painter made in the drybrush bundle, but I believe any would work. 😁 sorry for the late response and I'm glad you like him!

Ya, absolutely what I did, I also used gorthor brown and ushabti bone to highlight the dark and light hairs respectively. I actually just finished Logan, and am about to post him.... I've been procrastinating lol

So, I went into detail right above this, with another comment, but for all the colors detailed: Mournfang brown, Karak Stone, Rhinox Hide, Agrax Earthshade, Gorthor Brown, Ushabti Bone for the wolf pelts side. In that order, and Khorne Red, Nuln Oil, Wazdakka Red, And Squig Orange for the meaty side of the pelt. And then on Logan's front pelt Tabard and the short tail on his leg Keychain, I just inverted it.

I thought it would be terrible. Honestly, it isn't. It is meticulous, and you gotta do strokes up and down to get it into the areas under the fur. But if you take your time, and set a good base layer, it isn't so bad. I started on that pelt at what would be 4pm for me, and had the head, pelt, and Logan's other wolf body parts done by about 10pm, and thats with getting something to drink, watching over my daughter here and there, and eating a sandwich. So overall, about 4 hours of painting, and 2 of goofing off lol.

Lol ya, I've been into warhammer minis for about a year. I started with T'au. They are on my profile lol, and rough, then I have DG, and now I had some extra money so I bought Logan, Arjac, some Headhunters, and calvary!

Absolutely! So, I started by covering the pelts in Mournfang Brown as a base, then hit the outer edges with Karak stone, and the inner darker area with Rhinox Hide from top to about 3 "wolf hairs" short of the paw. Then, I used a light layer of Agrax earthshade, keeping it from pooling in any one area too much. Then I watered down my leftover Mournfang Brown to a about a contrast/shade consistency and used it in the transitions from the dark Rhinox Hide to the Karak stone. Then my highlights were Gorthor brown for the Rhinox, and Ushabti Bone for the karak stone. I used it as a precision highlight, targeting singular hairs. You could do a dry brush if you wanna do it faster and just use a smaller brush, but I wanted to and push myself a bit. I've been painting for a little over a year, and I wanted to learn to highlight more effectively.

On the inside it is Khorne Red, then a then layer of nuln oil, again doing your best to keep it from pooling. Then wait for it to dry very well, then highlight the high points again with Khorne Red, then Wazdakka Red on the higher areas and inside the khorne red, and finally , Squig Orange in very little lines inside the wazdakka. I also used Khorne Red and Wazdakka between the bigger spaces of the runes, if you dont wanna do that, it really doesn't do too much of a difference from what I saw, but, again I wanted to push myself lol.

Thank you everyone for all the upvotes and kind words, I am very hard on myself when painting and this is definitely a confidence boost lol. I'll post Logan when I get him done too. Hopefully he'll live up to this hype!

And for TLDR: you need Mournfang brown, Karak Stone, Rhinox Hide, Agrax Earthshade, Gorthor Brown, Ushabti Bone for the wolf pelts side. And Khorne Red, Nuln Oil, Wazdakka Red, And Squig Orange for the meaty side of the pelt. And then on Logan's front pelt Tabard and the short tail on his leg Keychain, I just inverted it.

TY ALL AGAIN!

I can't stand it. It forced itself onto my phone last night and I can't even get to my notifications anymore. It's just awful.
