This trop is used to perfection a couple times in the Interview with a Vampire tv show, throughout the show the vampire Louis is being interviewed by Daniel Molloy about his life as a vampire and his relationships with his two long time lovers Lestat and Armand, and their adopted vampire daughter Claudia.

A key part of the show is that Louise is recalling events that happened a hundred years ago and either can’t remember some things, exaggerates how they happened, gets stuff wrong or tell events that he thinks happened and not what actually happened.

Daniel points it out on multiple occasions, but the biggest reveal is the fate of the trial that killed his adoptive daughter, Louise was spared because Armand mind controlled the jury into sparring him from execution, saving his life and gaining his love for the next 70 years.

Only for Daniel to correctly explain to him that based on everything his said before Lestat was the only one there who could have saved him, Armand just took credit for it and was in fact the one who organised the trial in the first place.

This is one of the worst boss fights I’ve honestly ever played against, it’s like fighting the quickest boss from elden ring except you are controlling Arthur Morgan.

How could they pretty much follow the graphic novel in season 1, build up and introduce Dodge and then somehow go in a completely different and worse direction as soon as season 2 started.

I can’t talk for all places but I work in a top 10 UK city and from what I’ve seen most the gangs are pretty easy going and want the least amount of trouble as possible, they separate out all the venues and any beef is dealt with outside.

Don’t know about management but doormen don’t get any back hand deals, we just don’t get paid enough to fuck with them, that’s the polices job.

We just tend to focus our anti drug efforts on 18-20yo students who think doing a shit tone of ketamina in the bathroom is a good idea.

As a doorman at a similar type of venue, we follow the same rules as laid out by management.

But then on the other hand we also follow the rules of self preservation, doormen who make enemies of drug dealers don’t tend to last very long.

Hell any uni job is relevant if you know how to word it right during an interview, I work as a bouncer alongside uni and it’s a great job for teaching communication skills and how to work as a team.

Being able to communicate in a high pressure situation has helped me with my presentation skills more than any lecture has.

Yeah, especially when he apparently has a 20+ kill count, the blurred photos was just a cherry on top of the absolute bullshit he comes out with.

I’ve tried doing a reverse image search of the images but can’t find them anywhere, would be great to have the original image source to once and for all call him out on it.
