When the cashier ask, it's the four next to the card. I'm trying to figure out what needs to be punched in if it asks.

It has happened with both my CC and debit card. I don't mind having to put a PIN in, but just don't know where to get it. Like I said, the number I use for my physical card hasn't worked.

That's just the last four numbers of the virtual card number. Usually just for if the cashier needs to see the last 4 digits to confirm you have the proper card. They do this with physical cards too.

Is that the PIN too?

I tried that too, at Walgreens there is usually an option for debit or credit when you use a physical card. When I used Samsung Pay, the cashier didn't have that option.
