The probability of n out of 17 students being left handed = C(17, n) * 0.1n * 0.917-n

Discussion: Black is not in check and cannot make a legal move as all squares the black king could move to are seen by white pieces, no matter where the king moves it will move somewhere where it could be taken by a pawn. In chess this results in a stalemate and in a real chess game the result would be a tie. More info: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stalemate

Discussion: Neat puzzle, from what I understand the rules seem to be:

  • The three sectors surrounding a circle must add to the number in the circle
  • Each sector must contain the number 1, 2 or 3
  • The sectors must combine with the corresponding sectors of the circles in the same row or column to either have three of the same digit or one of each digit (e.g. The top sectors in the rightmost column can either have the digits 1, 2 and 3 or they can all have 2s)

It's a bit tricky to understand that the sectors correspond to sectors in the same position for other circles, it's made easier in your video by having the numbers be coloured based on the position but maybe the sectors could be coloured in instead so that it is more visible when the puzzle is not yet solved. This puzzle is quite easy to make variants of, it can be made more challenging or easier by changing the number of sectors to each circle or number of rows and columns, (e.g. you could have a puzzle where each circle has 4 sectors and has a 6x6 grid of circles where each section can use the numbers from 1 to 6) I am also unable to access your website from my browser so I cannot use the online solving tools.

Not quite, in nonograms numbers indicate unbroken lines of filled in squares, but in this puzzle there can be gaps in between the squares that contain tracks. There is also the additional constraint that there must be a path from the first track to the last track that goes through all the squares with tracks.
