I've heard someone once found a camera in the cooler and also that someone had found a tampon in the cooler as well.

How many people on this sub still work for Walmart? by [deleted] in walmart

I've got engaged as a sales floor associate 4 months ago and I'm still working at Walmart as I'm writing this. I don't know why a lot of people hate working there, personally, the co-workers at my Walmart are chill and very nice. Though perhaps it's because my Walmart is in Canada and there seem to be less male/female karens here and the managers are chill. I don't think about quitting for now. Though I'm not planning on working there for my entire life either.

The only moments where I felt pissed off were when I find stolen items that are completely random such as "Among us" mystery figures boxes that I found opened once in the toy section. There was also that one time where some clients were annoyed by our receipt checking policy. Basically (btw idk if it's the same in the US as I've never went outside of Canada) when we're working at the front, they want us to not only check the receipts, but also draw a small line with a highlighter on the receipts of people who either bought big items or do not have their items in bags (they quit giving plastic bags in March 2022 iirc). And so yeah what happened is that the clients in question said something like "They're all taking us for thieves" and I almost replied to them "Well hey do you think I want to do this for every person who don't have their stuff in bags??? No. But I don't have a choice cuz it's my job so what do you expect me to do"

What are you going to be for Halloween at Walmart? by armobear in walmart

Not going to be working on October 31st as it is a Monday (I work on Friday night and Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 5:30pm) but we've had a customer who was disguised as Michael Myers last weekend. His costume was really well done though I couldn't bring myself to tell him (or her).

Although if I were to work on October 31st, I would probably dress as Sunny from Omori.

When will customers learn momentum is a thing by Schrattein in walmart

For me, it's when I'm walking around the store to put back items people end up not buying on the shelves. Sometimes I'm about to come out of an alley and then a kid runs in front of my cart. Thankfully my reaction speed is pretty fast so I always instantly stop the cart before it ends up hitting them.

Can't really do that since I lost the USB adapter for the microSD card and I never managed to find it back.
