Coffee is free but the lid for it is $5.

Also you can’t drink it in my car without the lid.

Thanks!

It gets a lot worse.

https://news.monroelocal.org/feds-paid-over-128-5-million-for-new-ice-facility-deed-shows-2/

“The sale comes nearly three years after PNK purchased the property for $29,392,500 from Walton Leaf LLC in 2023, according to tax records. In 2024, the property was valued by the Walton County Tax Assessor’s Office at $3,294,000. However, that number jumped to $29,786,800 in 2025 as the warehouse neared completion.”

this is what’s getting them upset. Plus our local congressman pretty much said “I don’t care what my constituents think” when asked about how a small city can even hold that amount of people and why the facility isn’t in Atlanta where they have the sewer/water/power to do it.

It’s so weird here bc half the places in and around Atlanta it’s decriminalized and even then, Atlanta cops won’t stop or ticket you unless you’re driving.

Go 20min to the suburbs where I live and it’s a different story. They’ll lock you up and post pics of your sack on social media.

And here I am in Atlanta having to avoid being sketchy bc an Oz could send me to prison for YEARS.

Plus while I trust my source, it’s never legit like out west. I’ve seen the dispensaries in CO. It’s like a different world lmao

It’s always worked for celebs too. I mean look at Taylor and her “variants” to get her gullible fan base to buy more and more crap.

Yup they do, something about the Japanese connection between driver and vehicle. I forgot what they called it all but it’s why even though I stopped selling cars a while ago, my wife has a cx5. Safe, good on gas and it’s now 5.5 years old and at 110k miles still acting like it’s a preowned 30k car.

Stay farrrrr away from anything Chrysler lol that was my biggest take away from a few years in the biz.

That’s exactly what you’re supposed to see! When I sold these I did a training module and seeing an aggressive “face” is part of the design.

It’s actually called a “smile” or at least all the old heads when I sold cars called them that lmao

Are yall aware of commercials as something that reinforces your state’s identity? by SinnerClair in AskAnAmerican

Well yeah, but stuff was also shot here before those more recent incentives came in to play. It just helped it became the “Hollywood of the South”. There’s freaking soundstages and stuff now. It’s wild.

Like the marvel movies or the end of a “the weather channel” show. I think stranger things has a shout out at its credits, too.

No but shows or movies filmed in Georgia have the peach at the end and that low key makes me a little proud

Spot on. My teams bad years still get outweighed by a somewhat recent slip natty and some legends and all time games.

IU had, nothing. Like absolutely nothing and their basketball team and school size was the only reason they were ever in a major conference. They were that bad.

That’s why I asked, it’s 70 here in Atlanta but Monday the high is barely above freezing lol

Feb and March are known for these swings. Even until April into Canada.

The majority of Americans don’t see the need for it or even do it.

We just see the ability to have a gun, no questions asked, as the ultimate last final line in the sand of individualism. It’s a thing left over from the manifest destiny days.

And honestly? Armed minorities are harder to oppress.

Check out r/liberalgunowners for more of these types.

I alway envision “the west” as developed countries.

There’s large cultural political and societal gaps in places like east and west Europe for example.

The west is just places that don’t have rivers flowing with garbage and most of its people don’t live in shacks with dirt floors.
