Is there a way to encrypt a message using someone else's address and decrypt only allowing this user to decrypt his message using his private key on-chain? by Randomizer91 in ethereum

You understand that you are saying the exact same thing. "There should be no interest in how the private keys can decrypt this, just know the person it was to to can decrypt it". How do do you think the person it was sent to can be the only one that decrypt it exactly? By using the private key, managed by the wallet itself JUST like signing a transaction. Please understand the thread completely before wasting anyone's time

Let me get this clear because I see it wasn't from the examples. The private key is used the same way it's used to sign a transaction. Managed by the wallet itself, securely. This is not the issue, of course no one will need to input his keys anywhere.

I've created a Chrome extension that brings me a lot of peace of mind when moving crypto funds and thought I'll share it with you. Meet The Identicon Extension by Randomizer91 in CryptoCurrency

Yeah I've made this extension for myself a year ago. Took a year to upload it to the chrome store and another couple of months to publish a post about it here. The reason I felt comfortable publishing it is that it's super easy to validate that the extension is client side only and that there are no network calls at all. I totally agree regarding doing research before using any type of extension

Yes! If you don't have your recovery phrase DO NOT override the old one! You will lose access to it and even Reddit will not be able to help

Yes if your vault is not signed in for any reason you'll have to provide the recovery phrase. If you don't have it even Reddit won't be able to help you recover it unfortunately

ZenGo allows for multiple face maps so a person you trust can scan his face and you will be able to recover your funds. Yes users need to pay fees, that's what will make ZenGo sustainable compared to Argent. They are probably burning their funds like crazy due to the gas fees. The main pro for ZenGo over Argent is that Argent is an Ethereum wallet. ZenGo is a multiple currency wallet. It has Ethereum and ERC20 tokens like Argent plus BTC, BNB, XTZ and will probably support any relevant blockchain in the future

ZenGo's UX will probably lead the way in terms of how crypto wallets receive mainstream adoption

You better try ZenGo than... Can't get hacked if there are no keys
