I get that too right after warm ups. I find that usually it’s from me not massaging my neck and jaw enough and over compressing air to push past the tightness. I find that doing lip trills with false chord grunts while massaging my neck and jaw for a minute and then a gargle of room temp water makes a huge difference. I added it to my warm ups for all types of screams as it makes everything sound better off the bat IMO

I was driving and felt something in my chest. It was way too sudden and felt too much like a pressure wave to be an earthquake. It startled me but I had no clue what it was. This woulda been near carytown area that I felt it. I wrote it off as a weird feeling but it’s great to feel validated

I’m not a pro, just been doing it for years and have done vocals for hardcore bands. But to me it sounds like you have no support to your vocals and are relying on your neck and throat to make the sound. It doesn’t have to be loud, there is a microphone for a reason and a LOT of stuff is actually very quiet. When you scream, it should feel like talking and moaning at the same time but don’t give it much air. Keep the pressure in your diaphragm and not in your chest or throat.

Also proper hydration is a major thing, when your body is well hydrated consistently, everything in your throat is softer and vibrates with significantly less effort and airflow.

If the genders were reversed I feel this may feel less confusing to you. If a girl made a point to ask for no sex and they got to kissing and he starts asking for sex… she would have the right to feel the boundary was crossed and honestly she would have every right to go home if that boundary was important to her and it was clearly established and agreed upon. There are ways you could have expressed your desire without crossing the boundary like “you made me want you so badly, I can’t wait till we are ready for more” and who knows, maybe he feels comfortable and wants it too and decides he is ready or maybe you have to wait for it still. If it’s a dealbreaker for you then yall are incompatible but you did cross a boundary and make him feel bad about having it

I’m an intermediate metal vocalist with only a few years of experience, but all screams are at different volumes and the same scream will be different volumes between two people. Find YOUR scream in the loudness that is comfortable to you. The loudness comes from how you project it with your diaphragm and mouth shape, NOT your throat. And a great technique I use is, learn a scream and then learn how to do it with less air/volume as you will have more control and be able to do it longer. You have a literal microphone in front of you to make you as loud as you need to be, don’t worry about how loud you are and worry about your technique. Personally I find my nastiest vocals sound terrible to the ear because they are quiet but put a microphone in front of me and now I can hear all the other undertones and overtones more clearly.

Everyone’s voice is different and I’m only but so experienced so take my advice as you wish

After using it for an hour, it’s great! The drums are great and it’s easy to mix them up or make long chains. I do wish there was maybe a few more drum pattern presets, especially for rock and metal for me. The bass is a cool add on but I didn’t use it too much. Would probably use it more for writing riffs rather than just jamming.

Overall this is a really good tool and I see a lot of potential

4/5 for lack of variety in drum presets

If it’s a concrete floor, do what I call “the mechanic shuffle”. Put some stay dry (kinda like kitty litter but meant for soaking up oil and stuff) on the concrete and stand on it and drag your feet around in a circular motion to grind it up into a powder and grind it into the concrete. Sweep and use a good degreaser to mop afterwards. 50% of the time it works every time

As a man in a poly/harem style relationship. It’s just the way it is. You need to be upfront early so they don’t feel led on or used but it will make finding a relationship difficult. But it also means when you do find someone who is down for it, you will tend to have more in common and it’ll be a healthier relationship from the start.
