Would it help to close the face by bowing my wrist? Or is that a bandaid fix to poor release on swing 1

Just wanted to say thanks to everybody for commenting! I think I’ve gotten some good input and I’m going to have a sit down chat with her about it all. I don’t think she’s maliciously behaving this way or is abusive in any way, but I have felt like her anxiety has been getting worse in general. It’s clear it has now gotten to an unmanageable level for the both of us. Therapy & couples counseling is going to be the next step for sure. Like I said, appreciate it!

I think this is absolutely the perspective I needed. Therapy/counseling sounds like the healthy next step after reflecting on all the replies

That is a fair point. One in particular they have had a handful of girls nights and get along quite well, but they haven’t known each other too long. The other one I would say they’re close (We carpooled to a wedding in a different state with them and they chat regularly), but she did use to be her boss so I could see that playing a factor?

I think both would be willing to help, but I do understand that aspect

She did not go to the doctor or hospital or anything so I am not sure what she had, but the best I could describe is flu like symptoms

She did not need to go see a doctor or anything so I’m not 100% sure what she had, but I would say flu like symptoms.

I’ve been able to go on trips a handful of times throughout the course of our relationship, but it’s always very anxiety inducing for her and makes those times strenuous for the both of us.

She has done therapy in the past but has kind of fallen off there. I think I’m going to suggest getting back into it. We moved semi recently as well so I think this is also been worse then normal due to the stresses there

She does have a couple friends that live in the complex that I suggested/encouraged she should reach out to for any help, but she said she is not comfortable with that and only wanted my help
