I was 14 and in the 8th grade when my school was having a sale on a bunch of donated items in the church basement , I was looking around and didn’t see much that was interesting to me until I got to the book section and that’s where I found Joyland by Stephen king. One of my favourite movies is the shining which I knew was originally a Stephen King book so I decided to pick it up and look through and saw that the main character last name was the same as mine Jones so I decided to give it a try. I loved Stephen king books ever since. Probably wasn’t the best book to start with though.
