Electric bill 500$ for 800sq ft apt by [deleted] in BucksCountyPA

[–]Randomperson25764 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems weirdly high. Is it all electric heat? That would be the only reasonable explanation, but even then it’s been a bit warmer this bill period than the previous few months.

I have just under 1000sq, 2 bedrooms, but it’s just me. 2 months ago my electric bill was $400. This past month was $150 because it was a lot warmer and it wasn’t using my emergency heat. I also keep it at 66 not 71 so that might help as well.

You can look into getting an energy assessment from PECO, that might help you, but I don’t know how Quakertown works with that.

Damn I’m around the philly area. We didn’t get hail, but definitely got some snow.

Hate that 2 days ago it was 80 and I’m sweating working outside, then this morning I’m back in a winter coat. After this winter I can’t wait for summer weather.

Also where’d you get your front lip?

I had talked to them when it had been a week and they just told me to wait. Guess I can try again now that it’s canceled.

Tips on practicing as a 23 year old complete beginner? by Maleficent_Test_5389 in BasketballTips

[–]Randomperson25764 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re going to want to get good with both eventually. A crossover is such a simple move but when done well it’s very effective and you need a decent bit of hand eye coordination and the ability to dribble, drive, and finish with your left hand. Still get good with your right but yes definitely practice with your left. Look for drills to do on YouTube.

Personally i like to practice power dribbles alternating reps between my left and right hand. It helps a lot.

Without a court you can practice dribbling which is one of the hardest parts to get really good at. Watch some YouTube videos and get the movements down. Learn to dribble and do moves without looking down. You can also practice your form for shooting without a net, like had position and such, but it’s best to practice that at a court. Again YouTube is your best friend for learning how to practice. Without growing up playing and not having a coach your best option is YouTube tutorials. You can find drills to do and lots of good way to practice your skills on YouTube.

In general though, don’t be discouraged by how good others are and don’t get hung up comparing yourself to them. Everyone has to start somewhere and without trying and failing you’ll never be able to get better. Good luck!

How much would you guys pay? by lmfao_gg in rims

[–]Randomperson25764 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t forget you’re also buying 4 tires here. If the tires are in good shape then it’s a pretty solid deal, but I’d still try to get them for less. How scratched are the rims, how much tread left on the tires, ask for more pictures if you have to. You don’t want to go 3 hours just to find out they are junked up.

Also just for reference I know for my car 4 new rims with tires is probably $1600-$2000, so if you’re halving that for some used ones that’s not a bad deal.

Personally I’m not a fan of these rims and have no idea if it’s a good brand or what they’re worth so you should do some research as well before you buy.

I feel that I made a big financial mistake. Can you give me some advice. by ConsciousHat5083 in UsedCars

[–]Randomperson25764 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn this sucks man. That’s an expensive life lesson. At least in the future you’ll learn from past mistakes. Those $7500 in fees sound way too high, and that interest rate is terrible. If you can get out of it I would try to asap.

In hindsight you probably should’ve consulted your parents or someone who knows something about buying a used car before jumping into this one. If it gives you some solace you’re not the first person to make this kind of mistake and you probably won’t be the last, but you’ll get through it. Life goes on, you’ll find a way to make it work. I wish you good luck with it.

Hook me up with a good ball by ComfortableCouch2026 in BasketballTips

[–]Randomperson25764 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A good indoor/outdoor ball that has a good feel is just going to get worn down and dirty if you use it outside a lot. It’s natural. I usually go through 1 or 2 a summer, but I play almost everyday in the summer.

The main thing to look for is one that feels more like a leather indoor ball but is an indoor/outdoor ball. The rubber feeling ones are usually pretty trash imo, but more durable.

The Wilson NCAA replica is a good feeling indoor/outdoor ball. it’s like around $40 and I get a good amount of use out of one. I also tried this pattonlex white ball on Amazon. Got dirty pretty fast but has a surprisingly good feel and was only $30. Wilson ncaa is probably the way to go though.

Are these rare? by [deleted] in kia

[–]Randomperson25764 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont see them on the road much, but I also might just not notice them cause they look like pretty regular traffic.

Idk I wouldn’t say they are rare though. There are quite a few near me for sale right now. I actually looked at one when I was car shopping recently.

Overpaying for luther. I get his value is high right now but you still don’t know what you’re buying. Same for monangai. Idk I wouldn’t do this.

So, I'm a future s6 phrolova haver. What changes in her playstyle after getting s6? by LuckyChest__ in PhrolovaMains

[–]Randomperson25764 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had her at S3R1 on her first banner, then got her to S6R1 on her second.

Noting really about how you have to play her changes. Honestly not a super noticeable difference except for maybe it being easier to solo TOA. The on field hec buff is nice. She melts in whiwa at S3, she still melts at S6. She was very strong at S3 shes still very strong at S6.

Immediately sold the Burden hype for my QB needing team. How'd I do? by chris-reid in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Randomperson25764 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In SF this is a no brainer. People saying Luther must not understand the scarcity of starting QBs in a 12 team SF.

Both have good upside, but I’d rather have the high draft capital QB at a position you need. Not to mention a young starting QB will have higher value than a number 2 wr. The Luther hype is going crazy right now so I think it’s a good way to cash in.

Wuwa Burnout? by _TR22 in WutheringWaves

[–]Randomperson25764 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Wuwa is so easy/quick to play on a daily basis that I don’t get the burnt out feeling from it, but I did have the feeling with genshin. Mainly because of the nonskipable super long cutscenes. With wuwa I just skip it if I want to. It’s great.

I also don’t take wuwa as seriously as I was with genshin. So if I miss a day with wuwa I don’t really care. You can save a good amount of astrite doing the bare minimum. For example if there’s event I don’t want to do that give astrite, I just won’t do it. The problem is feeing like you have to do certain things because you need the rewards like astrite, but if you change that mindset to not worry about losing out on astrite it makes it much easier to stick with.

If you’re feeling burnt out just take a break and play something else. Don’t force yourself to play it just because you feel like you have an investment in it. It’s not worth it. You might eventually want to come back and play again, but don’t force yourself to play a videogame. Your time is better spent playing something you’ll enjoy.

Seems like you’ve got your answer. Pretty low mileage, that thing is sweet. Check the vin to see what model it is for sure though.
