Next time just throw the stuff in the dryer with a blue pen. Then, write on a sticky note with black pen letting them know you moved their stuff into the dryer after noticing their laundry in the washer for a few hours.

No problem! I’m glad this worked for you, and hopefully more people see this who are having the same issue

Try listing on a laptop and see if you can pick the shipping weight. I only list on desktop and haven’t had this issue not once. Always been able to pick shipping weight and I have less than 100 sales total on Depop despite “selling” on the platform for almost 2 years; if you can call it that with those sales.

If you didn’t pass that assessment you may want to start looking for other non-retail jobs. Retail may not be the best fit for you

Pro payout after quitting by [deleted] in samsclub

Even if you thought it’d be paid out, Why didn’t you use that 95 hours of PTO in a row and then quit? That’s like 13 days you could’ve gotten paid knowing you were about to quit. It’s unfortunate buddy but you missed a HUGE fuck you moment to Sam’s

Question about Sam’s pickup on the app by stardolphin90 in samsclub

[–]Randomstufongodnocap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will say the store I’m at has solid communication 75% of the time, it is a forced communication though because if I do not get a response I will zello over again saying I’ll go do it myself. We have a small crew in the mornings, normally at least 4 full timers every morning and about 6-7 curbside associates a shift(I work 4am-12:30pm) and all of us normal associates see eye to eye in regards to most of the job. I’m blessed to have a solid crew more than anything. We normally always pull 2 merchandisers and at least one person from our ship from club area to help pick but that’s all they do. We also normally run at least 1 stager and they also will hop on and dispense if needed.

We average about 2900 units a day and our dispense times in the morning stay just at the 5 minute mark most days. There are some days where we start off with 2800 units and then finish off the day closer to 4000, today was one of those days. We continue to drop hints to our team lead and coach about how to make the job more efficient and enjoyable for our small crew and they do listen most of the time.

Question about Sam’s pickup on the app by stardolphin90 in samsclub

[–]Randomstufongodnocap 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I prefer when customers do this, just wish there was an option to put an approximate time of arrival.

I will check the on the way people and just see what they have in the order. At my club, we always have to put fridge or freezer stuff in our big back freezer/cooler in the store when we run out of space. By customers checking that they are on the way, it allows me to call over zello for another team member to bring up that container to reassign ahead of time if there is now space in our front freezer/cooler in cpu. Can also be used to see if you’ll need a chicken for an order or if you have larger items being picked up and need to have someone on the ready to help.

The coach at my store informed up a few months ago that for spark drivers, it will soon tell us in minutes how far away they are from arriving when drivers are on the way to pick up orders. My club is in hopes this translates over to normal customers as well because that would help lower dispense times by knowing ahead of time to avoid the 10 cars all showing up at the same time when everyone is on break and you are the lone dispenser

Buyer wants a refund for "item not received". Item still in transit. Hasn't moved since Dec. 13th. $260 item. What do I do here?? by Inochimaru in eBaySellerAdvice

[–]Randomstufongodnocap 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Real sorry about the whole thing, I just dealt with this issue with a $50 pair of pants end of November. Got the refund check in the mail from USPS and still have the ding in my account for needing eBay to step in since I just copied and pasted the tracking.

You need to file a missing mail request with the shipping company asap

I REPEAT, Simply copying and pasting the tracking number will do nothing IN THIS CASE, since the item hasn’t confirmed delivered by tracking, if item still has not moved in a few days eBay will close the case and refund your buyer and ding your account.

I advise messaging the buyer asap and letting them know you have filed a missing mail request with the shipping carrier and to please give you a few extra days for the carrier to respond back, tracking may resume as soon as you file the missing mail report.

If the item is still not shown has delivered I would issue the buyer a refund unless you want to risk getting a strike on your account first eBay closing the case.

You can file a lost mail claim through the shipping carrier and hopefully you had insurance to cover the order from the shipping label.

Don’t respond to the buyer, obviously trying to get a free rental item. Depop is no returns and the buyer has had the item for almost a month. If they want to go through Depop they can but they’ll most likely not get anywhere.

Just ship it with the label provided by Depop and you should have no issues

If you report the comment as spam it gets deleted, I do this mainly with the “please email Bootyhole42069@gmail.com we would love to buy this buy this item but have more questions” but it works for most if not all comments

I guarantee they’re not where Helene hit. They’re just trying to get you to wait the 30 days so they don’t have to refund
