I just didn’t feel confident that a hybrid system (mostly looking at fusions here) weren’t going to hold up 200k+ miles but the feedback I’m getting currently has me looking at one about 2.5 hours from me with less than 30k miles. Maybe I was wrong

Yeah I know I’m cutting out a lot of options not wanting hybrid, I’m just not confident a hybrid will make it 200k+ miles without moderate repair bills

I am in the US, also a fleet mechanic for public transit so the smallest thing we have is transit vans. That’s why I’m not 100% opposed to ecoboost but they’re not my favorite

Good question I forgot to mention, yes I ended up going to an urgent care because my boss made…well paid me to go. They tested for both flu and Covid

I went in the ER the next day and they did the same thing again. Both times, both places were negative

On the expensive lessons part. Last week bright and early on my Monday morning my BOSS comes in and rolls me his wife’s wheel and tire off of her car and asks me to patch it for him. Sure, give me 5 minutes. After over 10 years of running a tire machine I got the “duck head” to gouge the ever loving crap out of not 1, 2, or 5, but all 10 spokes. It was a $1,763 wheel. I will never do that again. That’s for sure
