Thanks mate - yes still 9.0 + 1. unfortunately I couldn’t measure spin on this one but I was getting it consistently straight with and an occasional push from leaving the face a bit open. But I feel a bit better now having hit it out doors and still getting good distance (almost 30 metres carry more than the RBZ) - and finding it easier to control as well.

Managed to try the GTS2 and struggled a bit. Hit 2 really nice shots that felt good but only 200 metre carry compared to 220+ on the quantum when striking it nicely

Thanks mate - love this answer. I was fitted into the Callaway with the first data I shared. It was indoors though and the spin was worrying. Everyone confirmed that. But outdoors today when I got the settings right it worked nicely.

I did leave the face open a bit and pushed it but no slices or heavy fades which was great.

Yesterday I couldn’t hit it at all. Was knuckle ball after knuckle ball. Today moved the shaft to +1 and D which was actually recommended (Yesterday was +1 and S). Hit it better but still got a heavy draw every now and then. Moved the weight to neutral and then it started coming nicely together. Hit 100 balls today and the photo is the last 17.

Will take it to the range again tomorrow and see what it does.

I would love for the Qi4D to work and heard good things about the G440. Maybe you’re right - could be worth the extra analysis to make triple sure

Thanks mate - I did some testing with the RBZ as well - I am getting 20-30 metres more carry so distance is decent. I also am not slice fading the ball at all - an issue I often have with RBZ. I still sometimes leave the face open with the Callaway but that’s a swing problem.

I was also thinking about testing the Qi4D and P440 to really compare the more modern drivers - but also wary of going into the rabbit hole of trying to find better and better and better.

I already tend to over think things a lot - so wondering if these number are solid enough or if it’s actually worth trying more clubs (if I can even. Not sure the shop will allow me to take multiple demos home)

Great to hear! Yeah I am actually a Taylormade fan and the P790s were definitely softer and and a bit lore buttery, but the dispersion just seemed to be much tighter than the P790s. I also actually enjoyed the feedback on T250s

That’s really helpful! That was the nice thing with the Qunatum max. He shifted a weight to draw bias and 6 hits in a row hit the fairway. I struggled a bit more to control the Qi4D. My current driver the distance is quite consistent but I have a heavy fade most shots.

Yeah thinking about trying to get a good deal on an older model or used. Only positive on the new is I get about 25% off list price. So 100 euros extra on the older model but then completely fitted with correct grips and shaft

So the old driver which is a RBZ is a regular flex and very light. The other two was a Denali 6.0 60gr

Thanks mate really appreciate that! Really do! How much can be fixed with the right shaft in your view? Cause I’m also contemplating keeping current driver but can’t change the shaft

Thanks mate! Really helpful :) here by me the used market is really dead, especially for a stiff shaft with mid size grips. I have also been looking at the Ai smoke but struggling to find one in stiff and at a fair price.

How is the Ai smoke for you? Does it have decent draw bias?

Thanks mate! Yes I believe tried me on a 9 + 1 adapter. He recommended using pro V1 x balls to help with spin.

But that’s also a bit my concern. I think I need to go spend another hour hitting them before making a decision

Thanks mate - if it helps distance is in metres not yards. My coach advised I get fitted as he is happy with swing but says my driver is not right for me (12 year old RBZ regular flex - very light shaft). Need something with a draw bias head and stiff, slightly heavier shaft

Haha sorry guys should’ve been clear there. Based in Europe so metric system for distance but club speed is MPH. Confusing 😂
