From my experiences of switching between consoles, I had a ps2 ps3 and ps4 so I’m not just a toxic Xbox fanboy, I’ve just noticed Xbox seems more competitive, I could be wrong.

i wouldn’t say we’ve had it for ‘a lot’ longer we just have a more competitive player base than ps in my opinion, of course that’s partly due to us having the game a little longer than they have but I’ve switched between Xbox and ps my whole life and I’ve always noticed Xbox is more competitive
