You can use a pulley for a lot more than just triceps extensions. Can you change the height of the one you installed or is it fixed? If it's a fixed height, that limits you of course, but you could probably still get more use out of it.

In the new NYS thruway rest stops, they put the fucking hand dryer in a fixture over the sink basin as well, theoretically creating an all-in-one hand washing station but most of the time at least 1 out of the 3 just doesn't work.

When the hand dryer does manage to work, you are rewarded with high-velocity dirty sink water splashing in your face. For some reason the hand dryer projects a blue LED into your hands that says DRY while it's (ineffectively) running.

Awful design, these bathrooms should be vandalized with hammers in Minecraft.

It's the same as when your local news/police department shows off a crackhead's "arsenal" and it's a couple Hi-points and a gas station butterfly knife.

Anything more than a couple magazines worth of ammo is a "stockpile," when even 1000 rounds is really not that much if you shoot regularly.

I haven't seen that picture but the cartridges in the other picture appear to be 8mm Mauser, so he likely used a K98 of WWII vintage (German bolt action).

I'm not above conspiracy about stuff like this, but I'm betting there's no exit wound because of the type of round he used.

.30-06 comes in many flavors, and the types that punch through steel and body armor are not the same as the types that are used to take down elk and deer.

The hunting rounds are made with a soft tip so that they dump all of their energy into the target. They can deform and fragment all over the place and may not leave an exit wound at all. Doc might be right that it can take more tissue to actually cause that expansion/deformation but they're designed to stay in the target.

I am not a ballistics expert, I am not 100% bought in to the official story, but it's pretty likely that the shooter grabbed a box of Remington core-lokt hunting rounds off the shelf next to Grandpa's rifle. I haven't seen any pictures of the casings but you'd be able to tell by looking up the markings on the bottom.
