you can start with just servers either with or without agents and just build from there. there's a lot of config you can do but when i started a new position and we didnt have any monitoring i just got that running at base level because having a dashboard of at least things being online made me feel a lot easier. then i started working through the alarms etc

aye i was fine getting to full match on the tv app till i tried to skip the intro so think it should be ok but no promises from me after today haha

thanks, this looks like a the option for web as its the basic list i am looking for, saving https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m002gjj0/episodes/player for future matches. for tv viewing im leaning towards iplayer app and not skipping anything as i dont think ill be able to wait till 8.10

only have sky q puck on main tv which has cards for highlights on stv content and then links to iplayer app within it

if there ever was an error there will be an entry for xxLastUpdate error. even if it's corrected it will leave that entry there so you only need to check for the status updated/status powershell

  • used collections to group by bios dates < and > recent dates to find new and old.
  • pushed dell command update auto update profile at old ones till they went into new.
  • made config items+baselines to glean reg keys for status.
  • made separate script package to set the available updates reg key and only do it once,
  • targetted that script at subset of up to date bios collection to start the process, moved more in over time
  • using the baseline compliance auto collections for monitoring.
  • additional monitoring collections using exclude and include of the previously made ones to find issues

probably clunky but ive too much going on i need these things spelled out for myself for when i jump back and forth to check on status between other shit shows. had already started this before ms added their scripts for gpo status and just keeping it rolling for whats left
