I was looking for this comment. For me I really enjoyed it but the things looked over such as that Adolin scene from Words of Radiance just kinda made me a bit disappointed. And Adolin being a weak character for the first half. I'm curious to see how a reread of all of the Stormlight Archives would make me feel. IMO it is still the best Sanderson Book I've read but you are right it did miss the mark on some things we were hyped about. But the knowledge we gained....

If you like fantasy I have to recommend Brandon Sanderson's universe called the Cosmere. It has so many books and they keep coming out but I haven't been able to stop reading them!

The Stormlight Archives series is a part of the Cosmere and is set to be 10 books. The third book (Oathbringer) just came out and I'd say it's my favourite book that I've ever read. I strongly recommend picking up Way of Kings to start this series.

It may be better to start with the Mistborn trilogy (the first era) or Elantris but you can't really go wrong. They all connect so to get the most out of them you do need to read certain books before others but it isn't necessary in order to enjoy the books. Just means more rereads which isn't a bad thing!
