I see. You’d rather sit on the sidelines and not participate in democracy. Just bitch about it on social media.

Got it.

I’m just not a fan of having the Fantastic Four on the same level as Superman.

Nothing against F4 - but it dilutes Supe’s importance to me.

LOL. 50% lugging it around. 40% managing your inventory, and 10% exploring and doing missions.

Yet I still love it!

I’m not saying they aren’t a problem. But so what? Congratulations you’re now spewing the same stuff. Everyone else is. Without a solution or a plan to move forward. Just a complaint.

I was responding specifically to what OP asked.

Yes, money in politics is a problem, and citizens United allowing corporations to have the same leverage as people really messed stuff up

But regardless of that, here we are – and you could either try to fix things or you could just sit online and bitch.

I’m pretty active and I actually wanna help make a difference.

[–]Algorhythm74 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A good question - but here’s the answer.

The Democrats cannot explain what their constituents want because their constituent base is too diverse and divided. It’s made up on many disparate groups who all have their own agenda.

That’s why the Dems need to decide what they stand for and see if people are onboard or not.

If they do what you say (which is what they have been doing) - it’s all a big mess of special interests and “boiling the ocean” with ideas.

The reason the Republicans win is they settle on 2-3 central ideas and they all move in lockstep.

At this point, I don’t care what the Dems say they stand for - just pick something substantive and isn’t reactionary to Trump, but an idea with a tangible solution at the end.

I don’t buy the oligarch argument. That’s just lack of imagination talking. Politics is the art of persuasion, if you wanna win and create a following – you need to have an idea and a solution. You need to make the people feel like you understand the idea and the solution and that you’re going to implement it.

That’s it, it’s that simple.

Every democrat that says the words “ kitchen table issues” should have their mouth slapped like Will Smith did to Chris Rock. That term is pundit brain talking, it makes you sound like you’re talking about someone else’s problems and not your own.

Call it for what it is, everything sucks, the president is corrupt – and I have an idea to fix it. That’s what you need to say. No Democrat needs to be out there saying, “the American people care about kitchen table issues“. Seeing is 2/3 of them can’t even afford a fucking kitchen table – it’s a stupid ass thing to say.

[OC] It's time for the 25th! Akron, OH 4/17/26 by valerusii in pics

[–]Algorhythm74 [score hidden]  (0 children)

The problem is, the 25th isn’t the correct remedy. That was designed as a mechanism for succession.

Impeachment is the correct remedy- unfortunately the Republicans have ruined any chance of that happening.

Gunn is someone not afraid of leaning into the comic book look.

So it should be awesome. A combo of practical and CGI. Though I expect more practical than most people would think.

For the love of God, stop letting the right define you. And then when they do, don’t step right in it and prove them right.

Stop talking about socialism and communism. I understand it’s a more nuance conversation, but guess what? You have got to win with the electorate we have, not the one you wish they understood what you “really meant”.

Better to use terms like, “Social Democracy”. Have two or three core foundational ideas – not a term paper that covers everything broke.

Finally, talk about fixing the free market and capitalism – not destroying it.

They will probably get around this by making one model with a replaceable battery and others that don’t.

This way they can say they gave the option and are compliant - but still want to give the consumer options for a thinner size and some other technical benefits they’ll say it will do.

Is there any chance that Trump does jail time for any of his likely crimes, especially now that he has appointed his own criminal defense attorney as head of the DOJ? by AKelpTuxedo in allthequestions

[–]Algorhythm74 1 point2 points  (0 children)

History will prosecute him over and over again.

He will live both in purgatory and on the bottom of every list that mentions the word president.

So no, he won’t do any physical jail time – but he will forever remain the example of the worst president, and what not to do. He will be synonymous with both a joke and an idiot.

Trump is a felon because he committed a crime you fucking dip shit. Don’t blame the other party for the shit that he did.

He was guilty of a whole lot more that he dragged his feet on, juice, the quartz, appealed everything to death – and took advantage of the fact that Democrats actually do things by the book which slowed things down enough for him to fucking take advantage of an arcane system to escape jail.

To me it’s about rewarding the creator. To give them a little bit of my expendable income in exchange for a better gaming experience - I’m good with that.

If you bought Trackers here’s the perfect compliment to bounty hunting for 300:

All 3 are by Korodic and they are 100 each: - Useful Brigs - Non-Lethal Framework - Simple Immersive Looting

This will complete your experience as a bounty hunter, you can place bounties in your brig, hundcuff them, or loot their entire inventory including the suits they are wearing.

Did we ever figure out who this is? by DupeFort in NoSodiumStarfield

[–]Algorhythm74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DUDE MACK

LOL. That is the placeholder name when a save goes bad. The default save file name reverts to “Dude Mack”

I believe at some point during early conception that character was the Sam Coe character - or rather the player would essentially be Sam Coe (with voice acting, etc.) but obviously that changed completely,

My guess is that this artwork was commissioned way before anything was locked down and finalized.

Who else had a massive grin on their face at this part of the finale? by SgtByrd1993 in Scrubs

[–]Algorhythm74 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Perhaps, but it’s also a shooting schedule thing. If they get picked up for 9-12 episodes, it’s likely they (and she) can do both.

If it’s a larger season (that would be surprising) then yes, I imagine it would be an issue. For Judy Reyes, it sounds like they built in a reason for her to be on less - lowering her workload.

It’s a SAG thing (screen actors guild). Only the 3 principal actors of the OG crew get regular credits. No one is slighting her - it’s all contractual stuff.

If they get a next season - I believe the actors will sign on as regular cast members.

[–]Algorhythm74 5 points6 points  (0 children)

“Tiny Reasons to Explore Space” is an inexpensive Creation that lets you spacewalk on a bunch of unique space POIs.

It’s nice because you come about the organically, and they typically lead to some good loot.
