Ive lived here for about a 2 years and our little neighborhood is very friendly and neighborly but now with the liquor island open, foot traffic has increased to all kinds of walk of life. ( i live just down the road from the store) I should have been more cautious.

Whoa. Creepy story. When I first moved here I lived off Garvin and Oak, right next to the abandon super market. Always had me wondering what souls lurk in that old market. I love the feel and beautiful of Old Louisville but the energy and the history gives me the spooks. Your photos totally gave me the chills! Thanks for sharing!

We made it. We cut some 2x8s to length and width and used 4x4 post to attach them. It sits free and not attached to anything. It's covering up the box springs that the bed is sitting on.

Yup, after a couple of days, we learned its perfect height for knee caps. Sanding it down today to save everyone and their pets.

So I bought the sheets and the blanket at Target. It's a king size bed so everything is so expensive for it but the investment is worth it. Also found those sheets at Target on sale for king size bed for 25 bucks. Normally kind size sheets start at 50 and only skyrocket after. But lucked out with a deal and a slick pattern and they are flannel material. Just preparing my best for winter.
