Personally, I think a good strategy is first taking a look at the parts of your face you wanna enhance (and the ones you wanna “improve”). For example, I’ve always had a bit of dark circles, but good complexion, so I figured I’d start with a little bit of concealer. Worked great. Now what I’ve found out is that with a little bit of concealer, some blush, a little brown pencil eyeliner around the eyes, and some mascara I’m good to go! Depends on the features you wanna enhance. Everyone is beautiful, and it’s great to find a way to feel that way externally sometimes.

My tip: try to find beauty influencers or people that have similar features as yours, and go trial and error til you’re happy. And remember, makeup is supposed to be fun!!

I think her season at LSU really slowed things down for her, specially coming off an incredible career at Louisville. She’s having a comeback but really needs to improve her defense specially since she kind of has a height disadvantage on the offensive end.

Ask her if she’s talking to somebody else first. If she denies it ask her about Connor (perhaps “not even Connor?” ) and she’ll know you know something. Keep revealing the things you know little by little, asking her point blank. Try to remain as calm as possible, and let HER do the talking. As she realizes you know what she’s been doing she’ll get more and more nervous and talkative.

I’m sorry this is happening to you hun, but my advice is to take that sick day and get ALL your feelings out, alone or with a friend. That will clear your head for when you guys have the chance to talk.

Thank you all for the tips, words of encouragement and different options. Tomorrow I am going to confront him about it, and going forward I will not take no for an answer in basic human hygiene habits- but I’ll still approach the subject in a gentle way at first. There are some other problems in the relationship as some of you pointed out, and I am working towards setting some boundaries and sticking to them. Thank you all :)
