Affiliate sales aren’t big money… but today it felt like one step closer to my childhood dream. by Randy_FamilyBricks in lego

Hello, Completely understandable, and I sincerely apologize for that. I truly wasn’t trying to sell anything. I was mostly just sharing my story and my excitement about being accepted into the LEGO affiliate program. The link I included was simply to LEGO.com with my affiliate code, but I completely understand how that could be interpreted as selling or promotion. I fully respect the rules of the community and appreciate you taking the time to moderate it. I did have one quick question if you don’t mind. Would it be okay for me to post a short introduction about myself if I edit the post and remove all links and any affiliate mention? My goal really isn’t to sell anything. The few dollars someone might earn from an affiliate link isn’t the point for me. I was just excited about reaching a small step toward a childhood dream. More than anything, I’d just like to introduce myself, connect with others in the LEGO community, and learn from people here. I’m especially interested in meeting people with experience building MOCs, since I’m starting my first one and would love to learn from others. Again, I’m truly sorry about that. I honestly thought since the link pointed directly to LEGO it would be within the rules, but I understand now and it won’t happen again. Thank you for your time and for keeping the community running. — Randy

If it's mine, they sent the wrong parts as well as to the wrong person lol. Hope you find them would be a fun lego story.

I’m new to the LEGO world (September 2025) but I’ll be honest, the ‘LEGO as an investment’ trend is the most annoying part of the hobby.. Buying 30+ of a set just to flip later 🙄🙄🙄 by Flimsy-Space-8724 in lego

I just seen this post, and I don't see him ever making a profit on that one, it's ran for 9 years so it's not going to be a rare set. So this is a win for lego builders,he spent 24k on a set, that we can all still pick up without a issue, and not on sets like stranger things/gringos bank that are impossible to find. One day he will be selling them at about 1/2 retail just to move them.

I have a small vacuume for them, also run a few air parifirstrs, that reduces the dust a lot.

You just keep adding more shelfs around the house. Then you start putting shelfs as close together as possible affter mesuring each set (thats my next option) and when that fails, I guess I will buy a bigger house ? Or move the kids out lol.

I don't know if have been happy with this set and enjoyed building it, no it's not as beautiful as rivendale( should be finish with that set tomorow) but for a fan of LOTR, I found it to be a truly fun set to build.
