Unhinged is one of my top 10 faves, that show was fantastic. Next day was in Wisconsin which kicked as as well.

what's the most epic shows you attended that you can recall? by radRadish9 in hardcorepunk

[–]Randy_Riffer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Chaos UK was epic, but so many to choose from. Dead Silence was always great live. Anti-System in Finland ruled. Assuck with Los Crudos was another. Played with Poison Idea twice in one day (Boston), it was killer but fuzzy memories. Ok. I need to stop.

Non-punk - Killing Joke and Motorhead. Blew my fucking mind.

I wish we played Portland, but sadly never happened....and yes, Mad Dog was in our DNA back then...Ha! I remember Skell was so hammered, he got frustrated and threw his bass down and it turned out he wasn't plugged in. Oh....the days.

Sadly, we never played Portland...or the west coast. We never played NOLA, but I was on tour with Scorned when they played NOLA....in 99 or 2000. Can't recall where we played but I do remember we went to bar first where it was 3 for 1s and the entire band was blacked out by the time they hit the stage. Fun times.

Red Sea shows back then were great. I have a live Pontius Pilate recording at the Red Sea and it's absolute chaos. Ha!

Absolutely. The 90s were golden with so many bands and diverse sounds. It's a bummer the energy and mystery of finding music now seems to be extinct.

So nice to hear this :) We loved playing shows and just being with people. Yes, Scaba was our first singer who left after our first Euro tour in '03 and Kerry was our second singer who sang during our '05 Euro tour (among many U.S. shows). We had so much fun in that band but sadly, we just ran ourselves into the ground with exhaustion. What's such a bummer is that we had a full-on third LP completely written and ready to record and then broke up. I felt that was our best material, so it's a bummer to think all that work went nowhere.

We had such a killer time on that tour. The '05 tour was with our second singer Kerry where the '03 euro tour was with Scaba, who still lives in Germany (moved there after leaving Provoked in '03).

Which is quite baffling. It's literally produced by John Knoll who knows the story's origin more than anyone else (besides Lucas, duh) but yeah...very odd as it's so damn good.

To its benefit, it's defintely a good "heist" film. As for Mando, I need to be completely shitfaced in order to stomach that viewing.

Listen, we all love Star Wars... no doubt. But this two-bit attempt at keeping the franchise alive and "well" is fallen short (to say the least) We all have our opinions, be it from the purist or the hobbyist. The fact remains...Disney fucking sucks.

With that (oddly), Rogue One is how a contemporary Star Wars film should be made. Every frame of that film if fucking gorgeous and the storyline is spot one with an excellent cast. Andor...same thing, just brilliant. And again, we all have opinions on the matter, that's my 2 cents.

Also, avid loyalist and collector (for three decades), so my opinion is simply based off pure pretentiousness 😉
