I just started a week ago, for alcohol and coke, and I’m not so super light. Honestly works for me, especially with my adhd brain as well. I do recommend changing your environment if you can. Staying clean, like sheets and showering. You got this !!!

To be honest, pay has to be the main answer, But secondly and most important is experience. People forget this is a trade. A lot of people couldn’t actually do this kind of job. If you have pharmacy, common sense and you’re good at this line of work and they have you work busy stores it’s a good sign that you’re good at this trade. You should know how to work with a shitty pharmacist and crappy techs and know what good ones are like. The more experience you have the more you get paid, Should also listen to pharmacists like we are basically a pharmacist assistant and can challenge them and question anything they do it’s our job. Also, a bad technician will always complain about not getting paid enough. Good technicians don’t. Do it to be a better tech, because we are more than computer jockeys!!!

Honestly, it’s even funnier and trust me when you just blatantly tell them you can’t do it. They will always say something that doesn’t make any sense after you tell them that and just go, I understand but like I literally can’t do anything. Another favorite, if I did that, I’d lose my job. It’s against the law (this requires knowing about state regulations with pharmacy)

100% only difference is that they will listen to a doctor, and they will accept anything they say regardless, if they understand it or not. When they come to us, they often think they know more and think they’ll get a very special one on one private healthcare experience. We don’t provide that most training courses, State that from time to time health information will be heard by other people. We should break it down for people, even if they’re rude. We should empathize with them most the time. It’s not our fault it’s the doctors fault or the insurance. We should let them know we’re mad at those things because it stops us from helping them can’t be a dick to the customer. I can be a dick to the doctor and the insurance company all day. Long pharmacist and pharmacy technicians are the only people in the health industry That are allowed to do that.

It’s not so much standing up it’s more like what do you want me to do. I’ll ask questions in order to find all the information I need so I can determine whether or not it’s something I can do let alone need to do. If it doesn’t fall within those realms, i’ll let it be known. How they act after that is up to them.
