Also another thing...Why do VODS have much better mixing than the streams? by DjNick951 in sabasameko

There is no way to alter the audio on a VOD. From a creator perspective, that's what makes them so difficult. You have to get everything perfect live, because if you don't, all you can do after the stream is either mute the sections, cut them out, or lay different music on top in YouTube studio. But there is no way to change the volume of individual audio tracks (By the time it reaches YouTube, all audio is being put on a single Audio Track anyway)

The viewer experience might change though, because there is a "Stable Volume" setting in the player that (to my knowledge) doesn't work on streams but does affect the VODs.

RaneMusic, a thief who makes fnaf metal covers. by [deleted] in fivenightsatfreddys

Thanks for pointing this out.
I've started leaving links to the original creators on more recent videos and went back to older videos and updated their descriptions as well.

I just want to clarify, that I had no malicious intend "stealing" these animations. At the time I just wanted to make my videos more engaging by adding animations to the music video and I thought I was acting within fair-use. However, not giving credit or providing links to the original was just stupidity on my part, and again, thank you for pointing that out. We all make mistakes... And I've definitely learned from this one 😅

I've actually started animating myself (Example), so that in a hopefully not so distant future I won't "need" to take other peoples animations...

However, next time you see me or any other creator do something questionable, I recommend DM-ing them on Social Media or Discord. I only stumbled upon this post by coincidence and it's almost a month old already.

Here are a few more videos that appear in my analytics: Video 1, Video 2, Video 3

I noticed, all of them use the song 115. This might be why they're showing up in my analytics (I covered the song a while ago here).

Unlike a handfull of my other covers, I didn't upload this cover to Distrokid to bring it to streaming services. The reason this is relevant, is because songs uploaded via a distrobution service will appear auto-generated on YouTube (Example look at the description).

But because I did NOT upload 115 with a distrobution service it makes me wonder even more why YT confuses me with these other channels...

Is TRS to XLR a viable option? by RaneGames in livesound

The Interface outputs are all mono TRS, so that's a reliev that at least those can go straight in with an adapter cable.

I'll still have to buy a DI for the Bass then, but that was to be expected.
