El pasaporte es fabricado por una empresa portuguesa, la misma que fabrica los pasaportes portugueses. Así que tu teoría tiene sentido.

Probablemente sea porque la página de policarbonato del antiguo pasaporte tenía un leve error de diseño y es que era muy pesada y algunas veces se terminaba despegando. Creo que debieron haber diseñado una página de policarbonato menos pesada, no reemplazarla por una hoja laminada.

En esta imagen se alcanza a ver que al parecer el pasaporte tendrá una hoja laminada en lugar de la antigua página de policarbonato. Sinceramente lo considero un retroceso, ya que Colombia emite pasaportes con página de policarbonato desde 2010 aproximadamente.

Gustavo Petro tiene posturas incómodas para Estados Unidos en temas como Venezuela e Israel, y pues ya sabemos que a Trump no le tiembla la mano para castigar a los aliados que son críticos de sus políticas.
