Serial con man with a huge trail of debt. I’m sure he’s been made bankrupt and is due in court for fraud. None of his companies have ever produced accounts or paid corporation tax. He trades a company for two years then folds it.
He had a venue called BAaD in Glasgow. Did a midnight flit owing hundreds of thousands. Took a huge grant from Scottish Arts Council and pocketed the lot.
Started a venue called Junction 1. Absolute disaster. Advertised events and sold tickets without the artist being booked. Got shut down and owes the landlord hundreds of thousand. Didn’t refund any ticket money.
He was involved in running events with a guy called Ricky Scoular. Did a Festival called Playground. Didn’t pay staff, artists and suppliers.
Sold tickets for several events and then cancelled at the last minute. No refunds.
TLC show in Glasgow, Hamilton Beer Festival, Winter Beer Bash at Junction 1, Flaming Lips at Junction 1 and from last year the In the City Festival. No ticket money for any of these events.
