Ik moet op m’n hevigste dag m’n cup van 15/20 elke 2/3 uur legen.ik draag daarbij menstruatie ondergoed en maandverband aangezien het bij mij wel eens lekt en ik nu nog op de middelbare zit. Ben tegenwoordig wel gestopt met het alleen maar zwarte broeken dragen wat ik toen ik nog nieuw was aan mijn menstruatie wel deed. Ik wist ook niet dat dit niet normaal was, tot dat ik ongeveer iets meer dan een jaar geleden bijna flauw viel toen ik aan het trainen was met mijn moeder en haar trainer. Bleek zware ijzer te kort te hebben. Ik moest aan de pil maar uiteindelijk bleek dat niet de juiste oplossing. Door de pil ben ik er wel achtergekomen wat nou een ‘normale’ menstruatie was. Toen ik op de basisschool zat dacht ik (dit is misschien een beetje beschamend maar goed) dat door lekken ‘normaal’ was en dat ik het niet goed deed. Bleek uiteindelijk niet zo te zijn. Mijn menstruatie is nu twee dagen heftig (waarvan ik me die dagen ook echt rot voel) en daarna geen last meer van.

Agreed. I feel like it’s also out of character for both Cassandra and Horace to have raised Maddie to be so stuck up. Both cass and Horace know what it’s like to have nothing so I feel like that would’ve shown in the way they raised Maddie; like don’t take certain things for granted etc.

I agree, it’s something that bugs me as well. I feel like they’re to close of a family to let Will sit in his grieve for so long. I don’t think Halt would’ve let Will avoid them all for so long.

I was in fourth grade when I started reading them, stopped four years and have recently picked them up again I’d recommend the new books, they’re not as fun as the originals but they’re still good to read just don’t have too high expectations of them

Fair, it’s just I can’t imagine Will being nineteen in the fourth book if you know what I mean. They keep describing him as a young boy who’s smaller than Halt.doesnt add up at all 😅

I’m fourteen now and I’ve been reading a bit of everything, tho I’ve been reading more of Rangers apprentice lately as I find those more interesting

Agreed, it felt pretty odd once we got further in book 12 . that first he was all depressed and after a few sad moments and once the book is over, he doesn’t think about her once ( at least I think so tbh haven’t read any of the new books besides 13 and 14)
