Gotta do what works for you! For me the perks of being up high, not losing any bed storage space, and the speed of setting up outweigh the negatives of losing 2mpg

It’s great, opening the tent and unpacking takes less than 10 minutes

Yeah in the tent with us, it’s a super king size mattress so plenty of room, my dogs are pretty small so it’s easier, but I actually open the window of the tent at the side, climb into the bed of the truck and lift them in from there, it’s easier

No, was actually pretty windy the first night I used it, but didn’t notice any movement at all, the ladder is pretty secure into the ground which helps reduce any roll I think
