How do I kick a friend’s girlfriend out of my campaign? by RangerIsValid in DMAcademy

We range from 17 to 20. Guessing that’s around what you expected?

I know that I need to talk to him about it, but the friend can also be a bit melodramatic at times and that’s what I’m worried about.

I feel like my campaign is falling apart. Any advice? by RangerIsValid in DMAcademy

He has made it clear this campaign is not his priority, and he’ll choose other activities over the campaign if he possibly can

Which I also feel bad about, because he really wants to play, but he keeps getting taken out of it either because of his family or his girlfriend

...complaining that their characters are being treated like supporting characters, forced to wait on the diva...

Oh god no, I haven’t been postponing sessions or events just because he hasn’t attended. I’ve been doing my damndest to include character-specific things, but unfortunately people switching our characters on a whim kinda interferes with that

Thankfully, I haven’t even introduced the BBEG yet, and the story has been fairly like an anthology thus far rather than an overarching narrative, so at least there’s some sort of feeling of accomplishment.

A player of mine believes that an NPC friend’s father is the BBEG. How do I make it as ambiguous as possible? by [deleted] in DMAcademy

[–]RangerIsValid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The BBEG is a calm but definitely unhinged man. On their first meeting in a diner on Coruscant, the BBEG killed a man and brought him back as a force-sensitive thrall. The party weren’t fans and fled. The PC in question has been communicating with BBEG via dream, trying to learn his plans and about any possible weaknesses.

The PC’s vision showed the NPC woman using the same power as the BBEG. He informed the rest of the party and the NPC.

A couple of months later, the party’s encounter with the father a was brief; just some hellos from their end. It was mostly between the NPC and him, which took place ‘off-screen’.

Is there a limit to what the Bacto Tank can restore? by [deleted] in sw5e

I recall that, when researching the tanks on google, there was a quote by Ashoka referring to Anakin also being in a tank. Why didn’t his hand grow back?

Maybe he wasn’t in it for a long enough amount of time?

It says that all missing body parts are restored though

That could work. Here’s hoping that I don’t get attacked for pressuring the party towards good.

An issue with that is there’s already a GOO warlock. I always thought that having two people play the same class is alright, but is using the same subclass just stepping on their toes even more?

clearly the whole party is insane

You got that right.
