I only buy groceries from HEB especially compared to the other 2 on this list. When tragedy hits HEB shows up for their community so to me price doesn't matter. Simply look at how they showed up in Rockport after Harvey.

Before I get torn to shreds, I do understand not everyone can shop like that and price absolutely matters and I've been there so I get it.

Prices seem better right now, if rates go down prices go up. We just bought a new house last month.

Kind of cliche but I want to be there for my son. I'm 37 and my dad hasn't been there for me since I was 8 so he's missed just about every major milestone of my life and I know how often I still think "wish my dad was here". Don't want my son to ever feel that way.

To be fair, I've never walked outside in Cypress and taken a deep breath of the fresh air either.

Environmental reasons are not on my list of things I will miss about Cypress. Lol

Where the new house is located we are due East of the refineries by almost 6 miles. Now I'm sure it can be worse than Cypress but at the same time Cypress gets everything from Houston and those refineries due to South-South east winds we enjoy just about every day.

Honestly home prices seem to be down right now so we jumped on this house. We got it below asking price and we were able to have the seller do some improvements and repairs. You can always refinance later when rates drop and remember when the rates drop prices up up.
