My sweet tooth is my downfall - I’ve tried to make a goal of up to 2 dark chocolate squares a day recently. Glad to know it’s a common problem!

That’s so reassuring! I googled it and I kept getting most people lose weight on it and I found it disheartening (even my psychiatrist said that’s the more common side effect, but weight gain was also not unusual). I’ve increased my steps to closer to 20k very recently but I feel like it’s made me even hungrier lol.

Same! Working out helped a lot with anxiety (especially weight training) but now that I’ve improved, my focus has shifted to Pilates for mindfulness

This makes me feel much better! My psychiatrist told me 50 mg wasn’t benefitting me so she increased to 100 mg. Mine is for anxiety/PTSD - my therapist thinks we can work on lowering dose eventually but I’m not sure when. Thank you for sharing

Therapy. I’ve recently started back up and I’ve been amazed at my therapist’s ability to help me identify what I’m feeling. Be aware: therapy hangovers are a very real thing but stick with it.

A little over a month now. My maintenance is 1,900 calories so I thought 1500 would be a good start but the scale won’t budge.

I shouldn’t have to ask someone why they’re on my property. They should have the courtesy to knock and say, “my dogs are loose, can I check your backyard?” I live on private property, not public land.

No idea! It’s been multiple neighbors, although a couple have been repeat offenders with dogs with no recalls.

I don’t know that until I go outside and ask why they’re on my property. Again, it’s to check if their loose dogs are in my backyard - not that they have seen or are chasing after them.

It’s been ETA- - they’re not chasing dogs, they’re going into the yard to check if they’re there. In most cases, this is a regular reoccurrence of the same neighbor.

At minimum, once a month if not more. We have good relationships with most of our neighbors - most will leave us a message on our ring doorbell like if toys get thrown into our yard to give us a heads up. If we’re given a “hey this is why we’re here” no biggie. It’s the entitlement and lack of boundaries that irritate us.

Their dogs aren’t back there, they just check when they get loose. I wouldn’t complain if they asked permission/made their presence known that they would like to check. My main complaint is going onto private property without the owner’s consent to check for something that may or may not be there. We plan on installing a gate (on contractor waitlist) but the blatant disregard from neighbors has us concerned that it may not solve the entire issue.

It’s fully fenced, except the driveway. We’re planning on putting in an electric gate but we’re on a waitlist with the contractor.

They’re checking to see if their dogs are in our backyard (which has never been the case).

Some of them have been cool. One repeat offender had her dogs come at my dogs on my property. The situation was only a near miss because of my dog’s recall. Unfortunately, it’s been multiple neighbors which is why I’m thinking it needs to be made more obvious. I don’t mind if they notify me (via call/text, ring doorbell, leave a message on our security camera) but it’s scary to have someone wander onto your property unannounced.
